What separators can I use?
Commas, Chinese commas, semicolons, spaces, tabs, and line breaks all work. Because commas separate values, enter 1234 rather than 1,234 for one thousand two hundred thirty-four.
Can I add negative numbers and decimals?
Yes. Values such as −3, 0.5, and .75 are supported. Remove currency signs or other text from the list before calculating.
How is the average calculated?
The average is the sum divided by the count of valid numbers. Every entered number has equal weight. Repeating decimals are rounded to 10 decimal places; the sum itself is exact.
Are my numbers saved or uploaded?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. This site does not send the numbers you enter to a server or store them in an account.
